Journalist Md. Abul Kalam Azad's death is a shadow of mourning. Bhairab Upazila Press Club Vice President and Bhairab Upazila Correspondent of Daily Shatabdi Kantha Patrika Md. Abul Kalam Azad (resident of Tantarkandi Nadu Mollah Bari) He died of a heart attack at 8:15 am. On Saturday, August 22. Inna lillahi wa ilahi rajeun . His janaza prayers are completed  Saturday after Asr at Bhairab Tantarkandi old Eidgah ground. Bhairab Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Saidullah Mia, Bhairab Upazila Press Club President and local leaders, activists and journalists were present at the funeral. We pray for the forgiveness of the departed soul of the deceased. We are deeply saddened by the bereaved family.


The late Md. Abul Kalam Azad was 58 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by four sons, one daughter and a wife. He was a prominent businessman, educator and social worker of Bhairab Bazar. He was also engaged in the profession of journalism. He was the Correspondent of Bhairab Upazila and vice-president of Bhairab Upazila Press Club and joint general secretary of Bhairab Reports Club and Unity. He is a staff reporter for the daily Grihakon and an online news portal  Hridoy Azad's father is its Bhairab Correspondent and office secretary of Bhairab Upazila Press Club.



 On behalf of our online news portal, we extend our condolences on the death of his father. The journalist community of Bhairab has also expressed deep grief over the death of the late journalist Abul Kalam Azad and extended its condolences to the bereaved family.
