We are seeing what can be done. '
The Prime Minister inaugurated two power plants, 11 grid sub-stations and six new transmission lines in a video conference from Ganobhaban at 10:30 am on Thursday (August 26) to ensure 100% electrification in 31 upazilas. He later said this in the context of the student's words.
Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Children are not able to go to school today because of Corona. As a result, children are not able to study. (Now) online education is being taught on television. You will pay attention there. You get a lot of time during coronation. You have the opportunity to read. This is the situation not only in our country, but all over the world. '
According to sources in the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Prime Minister has earlier inaugurated 100 per cent electrification program in 256 upazilas. After the inauguration of these 31 upazilas today, a total of 28 upazilas will come under 100% electrification. As a result, 97 percent people of the country will enjoy electricity facilities.
Meanwhile, it has been learned that the fifth grade Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ibtedayi Education Completion (EEC) examinations will not be taken this year. The class will be promoted to the next class through evaluation. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has agreed to this. He agreed to send a summary to the Prime Minister to cancel the concluding-ibtedayi examination this year.
On the other hand, in the Corona situation, it has not been decided yet whether the Class VIII examinations (JSC-JDC) will be taken this year or not. At the same time, no decision has been taken about HSC examination.
