Elderly man commits suicide in Tangail

An old man named Halem Mia (60) has committed suicide in Sakhipur of Tangail. His body was found hanging from a mango tree in Kazirampur village of Kakrajan union in the upazila on Saturday.

According to the family sources of the deceased, Halem Mia ate food on Friday night as usual and fell asleep in his room. 

His body was found hanging from a mango tree next to the house at one stage of the search.

Sakhipur Police Station OC (Investigation) AHM Lutful Kabir said that an unnatural death case has been registered in this regard. The body of the deceased has been handed over to the family as there was no complaint from the family.
