Tangail city BCL president Mir Wasedul Haque Tanzeel has been arrested by the police.

 He was arrested on Thursday night from the Thana Para area of ​​the city.

On July 9, Fahim Khan alias Dwip, a member of the city's Chatra League, was attacked on Victoria Road in the city. 

Shahin Ara Mistu, women's affairs secretary of Fahim Khan's mother city Awami League, filed a case with Tangail Sadar Police Station on July 11. Mir Wasedul was made the main accused in the case filed in this terrorist attack.

Tangail Sadar Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Mosharaf Hossain said Fahim Khan was arrested on Thursday night in connection with the attack. Police sent Mir Wasedul to court on Friday morning.
