Inauguration of two-day workshop on bit policing training and bit register in Pabna.

A two-day workshop on bit policing training and bit register has been inaugurated in Pabna with the aim of bringing police services to the doorsteps of the people under the slogan "Bit policing house to house, safe society building".

 Pabna Super Sheikh Rafiqul Islam BPM inaugurated a two-day bit policing training workshop and distribution of bit registers at ASI Abdul Jalil Auditorium in Pabna Police Lines on Wednesday (September 9) morning.

 At the workshop, training was imparted on the overall issues of what bit policing is, strategies, duties and responsibilities of bit officers, duties of supervisory officers, etc. in the light of "Standard Operating Procedure-2020" framed by the Police Headquarters.

 The Superintendent of Police also gave various directions to the BIT officers from different police stations.

 Pabna Press Club President ABM Fazlur Rahman, Pabna Newspaper Council President Abdul Matin Khan, Pabna Additional Superintendent of Police Shamima Akhter Milli (Administration and DSB), Additional Superintendent of Police Masud Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police Ibne Mizan and other senior district police officials were present on the occasion.

 103 police officers from 11 police stations of Pabna district are participating in the workshop.  Registrar's notebooks and posters and banners were later distributed among the participants.
